2 What are the different ways to install fabric light boxes / FauxWindow (Fake Window)?
  • Wall-mounted: It involves attaching the light box to a wall using screws or other mounting hardware. Make sure to use appropriate anchors and hardware for the weight of the light box.
  • Ceiling-mounted: For a suspended light box, you will need to attach it to the ceiling using appropriate hardware, such as hooks or a mounting bracket.
  • Freestanding: If the light box is designed to be freestanding, you can place it on a flat surface or attach it to a stand or base.
  • Recessed: A recessed light box is installed into a wall or ceiling so that it is flush with the surface. This requires cutting a hole in the surface and installing the light box inside the hole.
  • Other installation methods can be discussed.
3 Is it a must to use a transformer for my light box / FauxWindow (Fake Window)?

Yes. In the case of a light box, the transformer is necessary to convert the high voltage, low current AC power supply that is typically found in homes and offices to the low voltage, high current DC power supply that is required by most LED light boxes.

In general, the AC voltage is 110~220V, while the LED products are DC12V, so it is necessary to convert the voltage by transformer to avoid causing the LEDs to overheat or causing an electrical shock.
